    what do you do with the fruits after racking to secondary?

    is there any use that you can put the fruits to? it seems such a waste to throw so much fruits away. and they seemed to be soaked with mead...

    i made a batch with EC1118 before. i added in 8kg of wildflower and the result was something like a honey liqueur. pleasant in a way... :)

    What should fermentation look like with D-47?

    Thanks for all the comments. I had actually made a previous batch using same recipe but with Cuvee yeast. That one took 1 month to complete fermentation, hence I was worried about this batch. Would there be a issue with too much nutrient & energiser? I fear adding too much...

    i also had some problems with D47. it seems to ferment very slowly. og was 1.128 on 30 May 09. when I take a sample on 3 Jul, it is still at 1.100! i repitched a new packet of D47 and added 1/2 tsp of energiser, but fermentation is still very slow... any expert opinions???
