Simple, yet complex. The problem I find when doing circles is, how do you, as a homebrewer, cut out the label to put on the bottle? That's where I find squared, rectangles, and diamonds a much easier design to work with. Making a really nice label, then having to delicately cut with scissors...

Hilarious. Glad the eyes are serving their purpose! I dont think I fully understand what you're saying. But as far as the dogs heads as the Os, I don't really like that idea because when printed, the label is small and the detail in the dogs heads would be very minimal. Also the spacing...

Circles are tricky as Ive said. So my problem is trying to make two objects "fit" into an object with one center...the circle. I could put a BOTTOM "circle" with the other pug. Wonder how that would look...... Oh and what about the pugs eyes? I think I altered his look a little too much to...

What can I say.... I saw potential in what you had there and just wanted to tinker. Again, I knew it was a prototype, but I didnt want you to leave it where it was if something better could be had. Oh, umm...got any ideas/input with what I've done so far?

Okay, more tinkering. I think I'm done for the night. Really just doing this for fun and experience. No vision really...just tinkering when it all comes down to it.

If you want me to tinker, then damnit....promise me if I frame your circular elements in a square/rectangle/diamond, you won't get upset. :) Oh, and although not a big fan of the elements, I have an idea for something completely different. Although I'm not an illustrator, I still might be...

Okay, if I was at all unclear about my idea, here is a not-so-quick edit of the original. Didn't want to deviate much from the original, so I tried to keep many of the same elements but updated some stuff. - Worked in a bottle cap silhouette instead of just a plain circle - Different Font...

I like the concept, but it feels very quick draft/prototype. It very well may be, but IMHO, the biggest improvemt could come by repositioning the text. It in no way feels "right". The "brewery" text feels like it is very out of place. Working with circles and text can be tricky. I suggest...

Fantastic eh? Wow, thanks.... Oh, and it was all photoshop. Damn raster graphics. Wish I had illustrator experience. I was done at high resolution, so it will print nice and crisp, but nothing beats the old vector graphic.

Did some tweaking... Dunno if I like the results. Hard to make a mean looking eye when you have so many nuances that cause posture and facial expression...

Thanks... Actually I plan to get them printed professionally being it's so cheap from MPIX. And their Metallic Paper option looks f***in awesome. Loud is definitely going for... I hear blackbeery wine is sharp, and when I made it before, I was expecting high alcohol... And def did dump...

Looks nice and simple, though do agree that when printed, it may be quite hard to read with that font. try to bold the font, and or select a different one with a little more meat. And that "diamond" looks out of place. Wouldn't change anything to remove it. A little color to the leaved would...

Here is a design I made about 2 years ago. Had 6 gallons that turned to vinegar.. :mad: BUT, have another 4 gallons going now, and I'm a bit more educated..... Cant wait to actually use it.
