Accuflex bev seal ultra tubing problem

Right, you do not need a beer nut and actually the John Guest fitting even includes a rubber washer which seals against the end of the beer shank.

Accuflex bev seal ultra tubing problem

I just purchased some John Guest fittings for my keezer last week. I'm not sure why more people don't use these fittings being that they are designed for this type of tubing. You simply slip the tubing into the fitting and you're done. I purchased the fittings from freshwatersystems.com, below...

Motorized Grain Mills: Time to show them off!

Update on my 177.7 rpm motor that will not turn clockwise. I called Surplus Center tech department and reviewed the wiring. I also told him that the motor was warm to touch after running motor for only 20 seconds with no load. He decided that they would send me a new motor and capacitor and that...

Motorized Grain Mills: Time to show them off!

clearwaterbrewer, you are correct. Now that I look at the schematic that I posted (I copied it from another thread) I see that it is not quite an accurate depiction of what I have. I believe I have the 20 MFD capacitor, it is the one the surplus center provided. My wiring is exactly the same as...

Motorized Grain Mills: Time to show them off!

Can i borrow your step bit?

For the price of shipping you could probably get a step-bit at Harbor Freight. Here's a link to the Harbor Freight webpage with the step-bits. http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=step+bit

Cheap & Easy 10 Gallon Rubbermaid MLT Conversion

Like jtkratzer said, my washers also fit perfectly into the depression. The washers have an OD of 1.5" and are about 1/16" thick. I don't think the thickness matters too much other than getting the valve clear of the cooler (so thicker the better). I used three of the stainless 1.5" OD washers...

Cheap & Easy 10 Gallon Rubbermaid MLT Conversion

I went to Home Depot yesterday and found 5/8" stainless steel washers. It came in a kit called "Create-A-Bolt" which contains the stainless steel washers along with nuts and lock washers (4 each). They are packaged in a clear plastic box with an orange label. I tossed the receipt but the...
