    Fruit Beer Lemon-Lime Hefe Weizen

My batch is underway. It's on day 2 of brewing. It is fermenting in my bathroom with my house at about 68 degrees. I am noticing a lot of banana smelling esters coming out of my bubbler though. Is that a problem? Will I get a banana flavored beer?

    Fruit Beer Lemon-Lime Hefe Weizen

Quick question. I'm sure it's been answered but I can't find it. Any secondary on this beer? Or is it good with just 3 weeks primary? If it's good with just 3 weeks primary then I may make a double batch. I'm doing one for sure just limeaid but I was wondering what you guys have found to be the...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

I'm finally done with this beer and it is amazing. I left it sit for 3 weeks cuz after one it still had some odd flavors to it that needed to mellow out and I've found that letting it prime a little longer usually just makes my beers better. It is crystal clear and easy to drink. My friends now...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

I've had mine sitting for 2.5 weeks and it had a Krausen up to 5 days ago. It is crystal clear now other than a few globs on top. Bottling tomorrow.

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

Few quick-fire questions I'm hoping some of you can answer. I got this in primary for a week and its done fermenting. I have it in my glass carboy because I was just planning on doing a three week primary instead of transferring over to secondary. So here's my questions. Will clear up much more...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

That's exactly what I'm seeing! I'm actually fermenting in a glass carboy. A 5 gallon batch. It's always more fun that way watching the yeast go crazy in there. My yeast its a lot more globular than I'm used to seeing though. I used a starter and some yeast nutrients and a whirfloc tablet so it...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

I just put this in primary last night and its bubbling away. It was my first all grain batch and my OG was a little low. Not bad ~1.040 for a 5 gallon batch. I may not have boiled it down enough. My wort is a little dark though. Clear as a whistle but dark. Is just because of the sugars that are...

    $10 Stir Plate BIY

Hello Everyone! So I am a broke college kid who, like most college kids, loves beer. I just picked up the hobby of brewing my own beer and so far have done a Autumn Amber Ale(kit), Honey Bee Ale(kit), Double Chocolate Espresso Stout (exract recipe), and am currently about to brew my first...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

So I have some East Coast Ale Yeast that I need to use up in the fridge. Would this work for this beer? I see that WL rates it 2/4 for american cream ales but if the consensus it that it will be fine then I'll start brewing away.

    S'mores Stout?

That sounds like it will taste great. Especially the cocoa nibs in marshmallow vodka. What type of vodka did you use? For the all grain recipes, any advice on switching between those and an extract recipe? Any easy conversions?

    S'mores Stout?

Hi Everyone, I'm fairly new to brewing (this will be my 4th beer) so bear with me. I've been looking into making either a S'more stout or porter. I have looked on some websites and I've seen 1 or 2 recipes that have caught my attention but there wasn't much review on them so I wasn't sure...
