Over shot my O.G on my Old Ale. Problem?
Normally with my setup (10 gallon Mash tun & HLT + 15.5 gallon Keggle) I have an issue with under shooting my O.G. So today I brewed my Old Ale recipe: 18 lbs 12.0 oz Pale Malt, Maris Otter 12.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt - 80L 4.0 oz Carafa III 2.00 oz Magnum [14.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min 1...- Seanysean

Red, White, and Brew? 4th of July Brew-fest!
Gonna be 108 degree's on the fourth, and 100+ through the weekend. Doing a Porter on the 4th and a milk stout over the weekend (making the starter on Thursday) I don't have a controlled fermentation chamber yet, so I am forced to brew my favorite beers in the summer months. :rockin:- Seanysean

Cascades & Chinooks - 5th Summer
I just started my rhizomes two or three weeks ago and they already needing a more permanent home. Gonna go with a half whiskey barrel/close-line trellis from home depot and see how they go from there. I ordered two Chinook and two Goldings just to see if I could keep something alive for 1 week...- Seanysean
