    Backyard Brew Shed / Bar

What about the height of the walk-in? Is it tall enough for a shelf to put the kegs on top of each other? The move the door to the cooler where the taps are on your floor plan opening up the side wall of the walk-in for your brew table?

    Bar design with Kegerator

It is actually plywood doubled up and anchored to the bar frame and the covered with about a 1/2 of concrete. Yes both counters are one piece poured in place. Approximate dimensions for the bar its about 11-12 feet wide, most people just stand around it so easily 8-10 people. its pulls out...

    Bar design with Kegerator

I actually have and it has worked well for over 3 years. The major issue I have had to deal with is moisture due to not having the best seal since I removed the top of the freezer. Here are some pictures

    How hot was it outside?

Heat index is what it feels like with the humidity. Essentially the temp while in the shade.

    How hot was it outside?

Just finishing a two batch brew day with a heat index of 105!! What the hottest you’ve brewed at? After this I would rather brew when it’s cold out.

You know you're a home brewer when?

That's easy buy another co2 tank so you don't have to worry about running out. I learned this lesson the hard way before a christmas party.

How low can you go? (outside temps)

Here is what I’m currently brewing in. At least the steam is keeping my hands from freezing.

How low can you go? (outside temps)

110 sounds horrible for both activities, I would much rather try and stay warm then sitting by a propane burning and sweating.

How low can you go? (outside temps)

I've had a few brew days in that weather. Not the most enjoyable, best investment was a cheap pond pump and a large tub to hold water that had sat outside to use for the immersion chiller and plenty of snow to keep it cold.

    Kegerator built into bar

That was why I took the top off the freezer to avoid having to drill holes, plus i can always turn the freezer into a fermentation chamber if i decide to upgrade and go bigger. Most freezers have nothing but insulation in the lid, I would recommend investing in a bi-metal hole saw bit and it...

Thanks your bar is pretty impressive as well, can't wait to see the finished product. I wish I would have documented mine better, i just hate cleaning everything up for pictures.
