I made the extract recipie. My scale went nuts and I added about two and one half lbs of C40. I just went ahead with the recipie. What should I expect as far as taste?

I need 1.5 lbs of C60 but only have 10 oz of C60. would using C40 for the rest hurt the taste?

I don't know what happend. I brewed the extract version. Tasted amazing! Then a few weeks later, a very strange flavor. I hate it! copper nutty off taste.

OK well I am lost then, I don't know what to get. I am a scrub. I just saw the extract recipe and can only get a 7lbs bag of LME, so I just needed to know what to replace the other 2.5 LME with. Sorry for my ignorance.

Caramel/Crystal Malt 40L is what is on the first post, so I would be getting that.
