Bad thermometer calibration, what should I expect?
This has been one of my gripes (as a noob)is finding an "accurate" thermometer. remember the 212 and 32 are sea level temps- rudy505

Kabloom- blew off the airlock
Made my first yeast starter on batch brewed 13 days ago. I had to fashion emergency blow off tube. It is a dead guys clone and i am fermenting in a cooler at 66 f. Still there is activity in fermentation. Fingers crossed as I have not had noticable activity this long before.- rudy505

What kind of water do you use?
I am a new home brewer and came to this site to get definite answer on chloramine in my tap water. I have been told it's ok. no worries. I can't believe it is the thing to do. I can buy good beer so making bad beer is silly.- rudy505
