    Hi Og In my cider

    Yes, I think it will be fine. I made JohnnyJumpUp Cider and my OG was like 1.080 finished at less than 1.000. And I used that same yeast.

    Forgot an final OG reading. Tasted and bottled cider tonight. The taste was dry and semi sweet. I believe this is almost the taste I was after. Can't wait till it ages some. I added 2/3 cup priming sugar and bottled it. Will taste again around Sept 24th. Can't wait.

    Ok, I noticed little to movement from the airlock today. Made JohnnyJumpUp Cider on sunday. And only able to keep it at the temp of about 74 degrees. I knew it would finish faster. I took a reading and it read less than 1.000 but more than .990. I don't have time today to bottle it since the...

    That looks great. Hope my batch turns out with even half the carbonation yours does. Ok with priming surgar can I use corn Sugar? And how much Did you add for your priming Sugar? 5oz is what the recipe calls for. I am making JohnnyJumpUp one.

    Johnny Jump Up Cider

    I made this today. Have one question, is it total of threes weeks before you bottle or just after two. One week in each Rack. I also have it sitting in my kitchen should i put it in the fridge?

    Brewing Newbie

    I got an juice extractor from the store to do my apples. We have 1 apple tree and 3 pear trees. So Was wanting to mix the pear and apple juice together since I think my apple juice will be quite bland.
