    I would also recommend you split the first addition of hops up in to 2 x 0.5 oz additions. 1 at 60 min and one at maybe 30 min. Your first addition is bittering hops and second is flavor hops. I would think you would get a better flavor adding some half way through the boil.

    I would recommend the 10 gallon. I do full boils in a 9 gallon boil pot and comes close to boiling over when I start the boil using 6.5 - 7 gallons. You'll probably cut your heating time in half with propane (although don't quote me on that). I have a Bayou Classic propane burner and it works...

    I put a sanitized sheet of aluminum foil on top of the grain in my MLT. This allows the liquid to disperse evenly and doesn't disturb the grain bed.
