    Carbonation problem

I second this advice. I thought my stout was cooked, done, HDD garbage. Purchased a thermometer strip, saw that it was at 63-64 when I thought it was 68. Took it upstairs, into about 68-70. In7 days those babies where as good as new. Cheers

Should a German hefeweizen look like this?

Yes. The hydrometer indicated it was at the correct post fermentation levels. I taste alcohol and it's carbonated. Spent about 11 days in bottle. Should I give them more time?

Should a German hefeweizen look like this?

Ive had a couple but they were not nearly this dark. Cloudy, yes but this baby is thick and not as clear as I expected. Either way, its delicious. Just wanted input from anyone who brews German hefs (used lme) let me know what you think or post pics of any German hefs you have made. Thanks all.

    transporting Irish Stout

So I manage a stout at my in laws House. In the middle of a 2 week secondary period, they wanted me to take my carboy home. It was a 8 min drive, out was dark with minimal splash. I got home, put it in a closet with propher temp and there it sits. There was a little bit of bubbles from the...
