    Carbon monoxide hazards are real

Very important point, I have been brewing in the garage with LP since 2012. I have a detector as well as a fire extinguisher within reach. I always vent with a window and prop the garage door open a couple of inches with a block during the the cold months. Stay safe!

    BG14 Burner Mounting in a Brutus 10

I used and liked the install on my rig of the heat shield found at brewershardware.com The burner mounts to it and the heat shield to the stand.

the kettles are raised from the bottom because the MT has a bottom outlet which is very nice instead of having a front port. The BK has a concave bottom to allow the trub to stay out of the fermenter, also very effective.

Yup, they are 20 Gallon vessels (19.8 to be exact) from Stout tanks and vessels - http://conical-fermenter.com/ There are still some planned improvements coming, but at least I'm brewing!

Floor to kettle's top is 54", I built it low profile on purpose to access the kettles easily without a stool. Thanks.
