Classic start in homebrewing - wife bought a class at NB that was a good basic class. Did our first extract brew on the stove top - Grapefruit Pulpin IPA. It was good, but we had lots of questions about why things came out the way they did. Kept asking questions, signed up here on HBT and just started picking everyone's brain. Over time, went from the partial boil extract brewing to 5 gallon all grain batches using the typical beverage cooler setup. Expanded from there to 10 gallon batches, then pulled the trigger on indoor brewing and went with the Spike 20 gal Trio system. After running that system for a couple of years, we have expanded once more to the Spike Nano 1bbl system
