Don't need the washers with the disconnects pictured. The red plastic sticking out the the end of the MFL threads is the "washer". Typical swivel nuts, i.e.: http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/1-4-barbed-swivel-nut.html seal perfectly. Tighten gently with a wrench. Just don't tighten too...
