I very rarely make the same beer twice with the exception of my pumpkin ale. Just brew whatever I'm feeling at the time and put together a recipe. Who cares as long as you like your beer !

Did you taste a sample? How did it taste? If it tasted fine, your good to go! This seems obvious, but I have had similar issues and they turned out fine. I wouldn't be worried about the small stuff floating as long as their wasn't a pellicle (kind of powdery skin) which could possibly be lacto...

I make pizza dough and dog treats. It goes a long way, so what I don't freeze, I take it to the local farmer's market/farmer to use for compost. At least I feel better about it growing into food for others than just dumping it in the trash! Support local and look out for your farmers! They will...

I keg water and force carb for soda. I use the soda stream syrups and it works great!

anything sticking to the neck of the flask will drip down to the bottom while it is boiling because of the condensation from boiling. I add one drop of fermcap-s and no more boil overs!

As a police officer myself, I can say that this happens more often than you would think! Usually hilarious, but more often than not annoying! I could write a book on crazy drunkards! HA!
