    Diversol oops!

    I had drained all the liquid out. I gave the keg a good shake and I had primed the siphon with sterile water

    I used 2 tbsp for 20l of hot water and given there's 3 grams is a tsp that would mean I used a total of 18 grams for liters which is a concentration of 0.9 grams per liter. Not sure what to do. Like I said this is my very first all grain I tasted it and it tasted great..no funny after taste but...

    Diversol oops!

    I can't believe I just did this. This is the day to keg my very first all grain batch!! Well between the baby crying and trying to rack at the same time. I realized that I forget to rinse the keg after it had sat in the diversol solution! @#$%!! I quickly sanitized and this time rinsed a new keg...

    Fridge or freezer conversion?

    I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what's best to convert to a kegerator a fridge or a chest freezer? I have been doing to some research on other forums and I understand that when using an external temperature controller that it is really hard on the compressor of the chest freezer...

    I picked up almost all of my equipment at a moving sale for only $100 Canadian (now at par with our American friends!!:) ) I managed to pick up a propane burner a huge aluminum brew pot( 10 gallons+) , a primary , two glass carboys, a mash tun ....ok it's a big plastic bucket similar to the ones...

    Hello from Maple Ridge BC

    I am a newbie and am looking forward to trying an all-grain brew! I've decided to just jump in and go right to all-grain and not even bother with the partial malt extract! I already have a keg system but I've been using a local home beer and wine store to brew my beer but at $110 to $120...
