I dont really want a lot of watermelon flavor just a light aroma/flavor. i will reduce the hops dont really want an IPA just light and refreshing

Ya I was planning on the extract at the end of steeping. Really no more than 1/2 oz. Does everything else look decent?

5 lbs light dme to 3 gallon water bring to boil 1 oz citra hops to boil after 1 hour 1 oz citra hops 12 oz natural honey add 2 gallons water one dram lorann watermelon flavor pitch yeast wyeast 1272 aerate trying for a watermelon ale type

just ordered 5lbs dme 2 oz citra 1 dram watermelon wyeast 1272 ready to give it a try next weekend hope it comes out good wish yu could find amarillo but no were to be found.

that sounds really good might give it a try not really looking for a wheat beer but it sounds really good. does it have a strong watermelon flavor or just really sutle hints

hey guys I was just wonering if anyone had a good partial mash recipe for watermelon. the extract one I foundon here I wanted to try uses amarillo hops but i can't find them anywhere so figured id ask for a diff recipe rather than sub them out.

Ya I think I might try a secondary and maybe add some finings to it and really clear it up. Im not worried about time I can wait 6-10 weeks until I drink it not a big deal to me.

ya i was thinking about doing that I prob will maybe on sunday. I def want my beer to be a little clearer than what it is right now
