I have (3) 40 Gallon Minibrew fermentors for sale. 2 have never been used, all three come with fittings (tri-clamp) drainage and sample/racking valve. All three are clean and in perfect condition. Looking to get $500 for each, originally $800 each. Perfect for anyone who makes 20+ gallon...
I also live in Dayton and have been going through the process of starting a Micro for over a year now. If you want any help or want to talk beer shoot me a message.
2-4 a night. Weekends I don't keep track. Being a sports junkie, weekends are normally a little heavier on the boozing if you know what I mean!
I've always been of the mind that if alcohol doesn't run and or ruin your life, than enjoying some delicious brew is not a problem. Cheers!
Hey brewgineers, the license is $4,000 in Ohio. I'm also from dayton and am finally almost ready to get the micro up and running. Unfortunately it takes a lot of capital and the taxes are pretty steep here. You have to pay an excise tax up front as well before you produce any beer, basically...
win- I personally wouldn't top off with 1/2 gallon of water after your boil even if you missed your intended wort level. This will only diminish your OG and give less flavor to your beer. When I have missed my intended wort amount after boil I just leave it as is. Its never below 4.5 gal for...
You could always buy a carbonation stone, that will carb your beer up anywhere from a couple hours to 24 depending on your pressure. I have heard of people using a carb stone and getting it carbonated in 1 hour.
Rebel House Brewing Company, I got the idea when I lived in Ireland in county cork which is known as the "rebel" county. The name just kinda hit me and I love it. Some day soon I will be going into actual production and sell my own beer! Can't wait!
I'm looking to buy some more corny kegs and I found some great prices at cornykeg.com. Used kegs are going for $15.95 and refurbished for $24.95. Now I would probably buy the used because they are guaranteed to hold pressure. I'm just wondering if anyone has bought from this site and...
I just did this the other week. I split a 5 gallon batch of American Wheat 4 ways. I bottled 2 gallons, split 3 gallons into 1 gallon carboys and racked them onto 3 different fruits. It was really easy and I am looking forward to tasting the differences between the original Wheat beer and the...
We are looking to brew about 15-20 gallons on wednesday. It's a smaller club with only 8 members, but we should have about 10 beers to taste while brewing up some more! Man I look forward to Brew Club meetings :mug:
Brewing up a Witbier this weekend or a Porter, I'm not sure which direction I wanna go yet. But I am excited for Wednesday when our Brew club meets up to taste and brew some more beer!
