I'm not a programmer but decided to look at the code while waiting on my parts to arrive. It looks to my untrained/inexperienced eye that if I activate the RFID portion (without a shut off valve) that the pours will only be counted if the RFID was activated. That will correct my 'ghost' pours...
It's been so long ago I don't remember a lot of details but I remember one keg show -23 gallons one morning. Good to know about the parameters in place now. I will order everything and give it another go. Thank you for the prompt reply.
Now all I have to do if go through this incredibly long...
A little background:
When it was first released I had the original version of Raspberry Pints working with 6 flow meters. The problem is that I was experiencing hundreds of "ghost" pours almost every night. I'm convinced that it was because my kegerator was/is located outside (in the shade) and...
I like it. Nice and simple but I do have a question. Are you figuring the Calcium Chloride to be 100%? The reason I ask is I have diluted my CaCl to be 13% to be easier to measure and dispense and will need to alter the amount to compensate. Thanks for the work on this.
I have mine setting in a tub. I bought 2 cheap metal covered grates (I think they were actually sold as metal shelving). slide the metal shelves up to the tube and secure with a couple of spring clamps. The kegs, etc set over the tube from the pump and sit nicely on the shelving. No tipping problem.
I had a problem with some of my faucets not being able to be tightened enough. It took me a long time to find the problem and I've never seen it mentioned on this forum. My shanks have a snap ring inside them. The snap ring is what holds the part that screws into the faucet in place. My snap...
I use home made PBW and typically use about 1 scoop per 3 gallons of water. I really don't know why I use that amount but it works and I'm sticking with it.
I think you will be happy with it. I have been using mine for nearly 4 years now. No problems at all. I will say that I have sprayed water all over my shop a few time by forgetting to unplug the pump from the outlet strip and flipping on the outlet strip. It certainly will "wake you up" if you...
Yep. That's the way I do it. I brewed several batches and tested the adjusted refractometer reading with a hydrometer reading. The readings were pretty much identical and as a result I have only used a refractometer for my last 60 batches or so. I do calibrate my refractometer with distilled...
