Thanks everybody! I am talkin' used equipment. Checking Craigslist and looking at trailers. I'll only be doing this a couple days a week but I don't like using cheap crap. Couple of snappers -6 hp - fir $20 (non running) and $35 (running-like new according to the ad). I thinking line...

    Beer Scene in Colorado Springs

Big Jefe, I am a displaced San Diegan, used to spend a lotta time down at Tony's, Pac Shores, and the South Beach. Try to hit O'briens every time I'm in town and my parents live close to Ballast and Lightening. Everybody has covered the local stuff except that I would stay away from...

What do you do for a living?

I am an Emergency Department Technician. Basically I'm an EMT working in the hospital. I'm the nurses' b#$%^ most of the time. We are only really appreciated when we are aren't around. I am working on my RN so that I can work 3 days a week and brew 4 days a week.

    Landscapers or grounds keepers

Hey my wife has a friend that runs a handyman/landscaping business. She needs someone to subconract lawn mowing services for her clients, mostly elderly ladies with old homes. My question is what used lawn mower and trimmer should I be looking for if I were to be the guy to take on that task...

    Glassware

Hey folks! Some of you might be interested in beer glassware. If you are, I found this very interesting site built by a beer glass collector in the UK. http://abeerglasscollector.com/index.html Pretty neat stuff. Don't you wish we had a bit more of this here in the US? Cheers. Todd

    Brewery names--what's your story?

Well this has been a hot topic around our house because my wife wants me to go pro. We are trying to come up with something that isn't completely place specific (Colorado Springs Brewing Co) or personnel specific (Todd's Brewing). We have a community garden in our backyard and we keep...

    Grey Corny Feet!

So anybody had any luck with figuring out a trick to put new feet on corny lids? I have already broken 1 that I paid for and now I have two that were given to me so if I break one I'm okay but I would prefer not to if you know what I mean. THanks

    My New Years Celebration ! ! !

Check Phil Markowski's Brew Like A Monk. I seem to remember that there is some talk about the various Chimay beers. Not specific recipes per se but good info on how to formulate. I really enjoyed the book itself and have totally been meaning to buy it but so many other things have gotten in...

    A Problem at the LHBS

Soooo... I brewed beer on Wednesday, as I posted in another thread about a good experience, this is a thread about a bad experience in the same brew session. I just got a little scale to measure hops in an attempt to be more accurate and more consistent. I had rushed to the LHBS that morning...

Thanks Wolfsdenbrew! I would love to find more info about the style of horkey. I think Trinity likens it to a brown(?).

    Weldless Fittings Rules!

Well Pol it does look like bargian fittings... except better in my opinion. Dave doesn't sell copper or brass stuff, only stainless and for less money than bargain's stainless. I made the choice for weldlessfittings.com on price and quality. I think I made the right choice.
