I have an extry'n on standby just in case one gets clogged. Sanitize it and swap it out and then start soaking the other one to get the gunk out.
I've had to use this before for stouts fermenting with S-04. **** gets rowdy. :rockin:
Whew. Glad that I'm not the only one who learned something. :)
I'm just happy that with my buzz and all that I didn't try to go all "I know about beer" on them and try to "educate" them because I would have gotten skooooled. And it would have been rightly deserved. :rockin:
Ok, so I was at a gastro/brew pub this weekend in a large-ish city and they only serve their own beer. In perusing their menu I noticed that one of their offerings was a Porter which they described as a lager?
Say what? Sure, (most) all things are possible but is THIS possible?
I'm going to be in Cincinnati next week. I finally got a chance to try some Rhinegeist and am most impressed. Is their Saber Tooth Tiger still available in stores or at their brewpub?
Thx.
Title says it all. I have (1) Prairie Bomb! and (4) KBS for trade. All are from this year's release. Post here or PM me if interested.
Edit: I am also very interested in Alpha King.
Thanks!
Wish I had time to brew them all. I only brewed the Peace Stout Coffee because they sent it as a freebie. I love coffee stouts a WHOLE LOT so I will definitely make sure I get to the one you posted this summer/fall to be ready in time for winter drinking. :)
Thanks for the suggestion.
This also took me a few seconds as well. I was all like "do all married guys like coffee or something? I don't get it...."
Then I got it. Or rather I got the fact that married men don't get it, which is actually getting what you were hoping everyone would get, right? :D
But about...
Thx. That's very interesting. So how do they do it in a "real" brewery as all the coffee stouts I have had generally have a decent head on them? I'm wondering if they add cold brewed coffee to the fermentor since it has considerably less oil extraction.
