never really looked at northern till today and placed my first order. I was always shopper of AustinHomebrew or Midwest, but their prices have to just gotten to high.
northern had good prices.. ordered two kits so we'll see how it goes.
thanks guys. Ya i just hate wasting beer and even more hating waiting months before i get to make a new batch. wife doesn't drink beer, my friends aren't really keen on craft brews so i'm on my own.
ya same here i thought i just forgot my log in info but realized that it wasn't my memory. Old site looked dated but it functioned great. new one looks nicer but not very functional, to much clicking involved to get the same info i used to w/ one click.
i have been on a break from brewing since last nov due to newborn but AHS was my go to site i went on today and not liking new site.. hate that you cant see the prices have to click on each kit. and wow big price increases which i guess i get.
I never finish my 5gall batches and i want to try new kits all the time. I invested into kegging system so have 5gallon kegs. would it be a problem if i made a 2gall batch and just put it in my 5g keg?
point taken haha..
but i usuaully get like wyest or american labs... which is like pornstar yeast and this time i used coopers that was inside can yeast which is like masterbating.
but i get the point tho.. i think next batch i will dry using dry yeast again.
so i'm brewing my first stout (coopers stout extract kit) was xmas gift. well i have coopers fermenter which is pretty large. i have brewed about 10 batches i've never had one come close to blowing out. But this stout the foam started to go into the airlock it just hit the tip and than came...
ya i would think so. i have never seen one, but i have 15lb tank and mine is to tall. but there is enough room width would jsut come down to height. This fridge is same size maybe bigger than some of the danby or sanyos that people have successfully fit two kegs and co2.
I actually put my tank behind the wall.
Temps seem good as well took two seperate readings one from laying probe on the hump in back and other from laying on top of keg
