Thin white film floating in secondary?

My stout ended up being the best one I ever made to this date, so I look at the white business as a good luck charm from now on.

Thin white film floating in secondary?

John Palmer in 'how to brew', claims that it may be mold or mildew but will not impart any flavors to the beer. Provided that you have tasted it, and it seems fine than don't worry about it. If it's grossing you out and you have a bucket fermenter then just scoop it off and carry on. It just...

Time in secondary bfor a black IPA? Best way to prime?

Best Dry-Hopping is done in between 3-7 Days. 7 days or more, the hops take on more of a grassy flavour. If that's the desired effect, then dry hop longer for sure

    Easy Wheat Malting (Picture Guide)

I am in the middle east and this recipe along with an all wheat beer recipe on youtube has given me hope in a place that is like 1930's prohibition in the U.S. I will post my recipe and any interesting flavors I get out of cooking my wheat at different temperatures in the oven. Cheers

Can I do an all wheat mash?

Unless you have a load of rice hulls or are doing BIAB, you'll never be able to sparge. I've gone as high as 60% wheat with no issues (doing BIAB). What is a BIAB?

Can I do an all wheat mash?

I am currently living in a place where there is nothing available, as far as I can tell but wheat. Now I have 7.5lbs of crushed wheat, and I'm not sure if it's malted or not. I know that I need the enzymes of someting malted to help break down the wheat so all that I could find was 2 lbs. of...
