Thanks for sharing your experience with induction! I've been thinking about this myself for a little while. I like the idea of electric brewing but have neither the skills nor the resolve to dig into the usual hot water heater element approach. I like the system you put together. Cheers!
I brewed this about a month ago, kegged it a couple of weeks back, and am drinking it now. Such a great recipe! This is my third or fourth time making this beer, and it's always a pleasure to drink. This time around I used US-05 instead of Nottingham because that's what I happened to have on...
The Funkwerks tap room goes through a fair number of those hefty 750 ml Champagne bottles, so a while back I asked if they'd save their empties for me. They ended up putting a little wooden bin just outside the brewery that says "Bottle Exchange," and you can just back your car up and take away...
Another option is to use a good, old-fashioned metal trash can. I can fit two full sacks in a 31-gallon can (I keep my base malts in the bags they came in), and the metal keeps out pests. Not the prettiest solution, but it's cheap and effective.
I just put in for one bag each of pale, rye, and red wheat. That should put us over 40, right?
Sorry to have fallen silent there for a bit. Work inopportunely interrupted my homebrew obsession.
