    Robobrew V3 deal.

I'm in N. NV. and have seen them advertised the last few months on Craigslist. Kinda tempting, but I'm getting into a groove with my Grainfather and would hate to offend whatever gods I've unknowingly pleased. ;)

Just Moved - seeking advice on adapting my setup

You're welcome. There's gotta be at least a 110v back there for the washer, but maybe you have a gas dryer. Good luck.

Just Moved - seeking advice on adapting my setup

Mine didn't have the 2nd panel that you seem to have. Mine opened to the wall behind the washer/dryer with the outlet, water and vent hose. I'd take off that panel too or try to peek around it.

With my stacking washer/dryer, there's a panel going up at an angle, "behind" the washer lid. You should be able to remove that and get access too the outlet.

    Grainfather!!

I have the US version. I brew indoors with the jacket and a 1000w heat stick and I'll be high with OG occasionally. I chalk it up to gremlins. I've heard of people, on here I think, getting 80%-90% efficiency. Sorry, I missed the part about you already doing a 90m mash. Grain crush will...

    Grainfather!!

Brew day takes longer. ;P. I use mash/boil/ferm times as guidelines. Mash is complete when conversion is complete. A simple iodine test will show that. You can definitely boil longer if you need to get your volume down but it'll raise OG.

    Brewjacket Immersion Pro temp probe

They were out of stock and while I didn't outright ask for a free one, I did explain, as above, what happened and they said they were back in stock. I just hate paying $15 for a temp probe. That's what got me wondering if there was anything special about the OEM one.

    Brewjacket Immersion Pro temp probe

My cat decided she wanted the temp probe as a cat toy more than I wanted it as a temp probe. Now I need to replace it. The probe, not the cat. I know, I know but she really is a pos only 99% of the time. Anyway, can I use any probe or does anyone know the "specs" for the OEM probe? Thanks.

    Grainfather!!

" just thought id share my experience for anyone with the old controller" What old controller are you talking about? Is there a version number I should look for? I've brewed 7 batches then I got my Bluetooth controller about 1 1/2 years ago but couldn't brew because of a torn rotator cuff. Now...
