Just got home - holy hell that place was packed! Congrats Don! Couldn't ask for a more successful opening night! Great bar, amazing lineup of beers and it's only about a 10 minute drive. So yeah, I'll be back :) It was nice to meet some of you other HBTers, let's make it a regular thing!

Awesome, thanks for the update. I am trying to come up with a recipe for something similar to Hoegaarden and will keep these tips in mind.

I am so excited to see the place! The lineup sounds great. What time are others planning on showing up on Wednesday? Myself and my partner will be there wearing our Cask Beer Festival tshirts, mine orange and my partner's is gray.

HWMO and I drove by the other night, the sign looks great! We are stoked because we live nearby. We will be there for sure!

I would probably not say "all" yeasts, all the time, but I often do with 1056 and any hefeweizen's that I don't want the banana clove flavor from

I often ferment at 62-65 for my ales, they taste great! I will typically pitch the yeast a little warmer though, just to get things going.

Yeah I brewed a Pliny the Elder clone this past fall... the hops in that bad boy put hairs on my chest! It was the hoppiest - and one of the best - beers I've ever brewed
