I just hooked up a nitrogen tap and need advise on the beer line length. I have a mixture of 75/25 beer-gas and it is sitting in a kegerater, which i keep at 35 degrees.
Additionally, at what psi should I be running this thing?
Here is the a 6 Gal batch I made for this clone. For me and my buds, it was a pretty good match. Before bottling, it was pretty darn close. The color was a bit darker than fat tire but the taste was almost spot on. I just cracked open my first bottle after bottle conditioning and it has lost...
Anyone have a picture of the correct look of the Q314 pilot flame? The
instructions only seem to show what it shouldn't look like.
The pilot light for this should be at a 45degree angle. At least, that is what I have and it works very well.
Just ordered the pieces! So stoked about this. My question is are there actual plans as to how long the cuts are?

I have been toying around with a coconut brown ale on Beer Alchemy. I would like to get your thoughts on this recipe. I am looking to go after a beer styled after Kona Brewing Co Koko Brown Ale.

Here you go. I basically started with a Wallace plan and adjusted it to gravity feed the HLT. The plan is pretty simple. The width is 16 inches. The length of the first tier is 38 inches long. The total length is 54 inches long. The height of the lower tier is 21 inches tall. The height of...
I use this. It is based off of the tutorial Bobby has on his youtube site. It works pretty well for me. I had to drill some additional holes on the end of the pick up tube. Pretty cheap for the parts. Plus, I have the satisfaction of building it myself.
Cheers!
Here is my take on the Wallace. I just finished my 5th batch. I am very happy with material. I opted for the non-green metal. It was a good choice for me as I have already had a boil over and burnt wort to several spots on the frame. I think this adds a really nice patina to the look.
