I did 4 gallons drained from mash, and 1 gallon hop tea (2oz Crystal hop). Fermented for 28d in bucket with some safale lager yeast. After two weeks in keg...it's amazing. Thank you

i brewed this two days ago. fermentation kicked off strong within 12 hr. very delighted to see how easy it all was. My O.G. was low though. 12lb pilsner 2 oz Crystal Hop for 30min in .5 gallon TEA boil Safale 34/70 O.G. was 1042 Plan is to let it ferment/lager for total of one month...

I like Mikes idea on dual feeds. Just from looking at it, I think you can get rid of the brass elbow coming out of the burner and have a 1/2" connector for Feed from the valve. Lowes sells yellow supply lines (around the water heaters) that have half inch connection that will plug and play...

I know a fellow who, for his existing home, dug out a basement by hand with only a shovel and 5 gallon buckets. Took him 20 years to do a complete basement, and it's just dirt floors, but true dedication!

This is what 2 packs of s-04 does! We brewed 12 gallons if this yesterday and I almost wish we had done two 6 gallon batches. This is ALOT of grain. We managed 76% eff, but it was really taxing to get there. Bump your grain bill up some and take some of the stress out. Fun brew though. Very...

A 1/32 less than 7/8 works for me. But it really depends on you fitting. Threads seems to vary by a 32nd or so. I like to keep it tight as possible. So I drill a little, then try it, then drill a touch more until I can get it where it almost threads in.
