    Keg Lube

    I haven't been kegging long but can see the benefit of using a lube, particularly on the large lid 'O' ring, and to increase the life of the 'O' rings. Without lube the large 'O' ring certainly sticks and I can see bits of it eventually pealing of if left dry. I'm using 'CRC Synthetic Food Grade...

    Gidday mate, from a Kiwi across the ditch. Welcome to the forum, there's a Goldmine of information here. I usually put a cup of stewed tea in my brew, doesn't affect the flavour much but the Tannin provides a useful source of yeast nutrients. Cheers

    Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes New Zealand is beautiful and a lot of movies are being filmed here now (Lord of the Rings trillogy etc.) I've already got some great ideas from the discussions on this forum and look forward to contributing something myself.
