    Another Kit Thread

I would go with the LivingSocial/Midwest kit. Its a very good deal and if you can get 3 friends and/or HBT members to buy one using your referral link you can get the whole thing for $12 shipped. Check out this thread for more info...

Hey guys thanks I just got an email saying that Ive received 3 referrals. Still waiting on them to remove the charge from my card or reinburse the payment though. Ive taken my links down so nobody uses mine anymore. Keep up the good work guys, alot of us have the opportunity to get these for...

    Midwest Living Social Deal

We already have a thread on this but thanks for posting it again for anyone who did not see it. FYI for those who do not know - when you buy this kit if you can get 3 referrals to buy one using your referral link, then you get the kit for free short of shipping costs.

Great deal on beginners kit though Midwest and Livingsocial.com

This kit does come with a thermometer so that is not needed, but I would recommend an autosiphon upgrade as well. Amazon has some good kettles to compliment this kit as well, or you can get one from Midwest if they give you a good deal with combined shipping.

Great deal on beginners kit though Midwest and Livingsocial.com

Great news! I am the next in line in this thread whose link is posted so here's to hoping that I can be as lucky! Just wondering, did you get an email (or any other way of telling) that you had 1 or 2 referrals, or did you only find out when you got all 3? Also, HomebrewFinds.com is an...

Great deal on beginners kit though Midwest and Livingsocial.com

I agree with rayman and think we should take advantage of this referral system. I just used another member's link to buy my kit, and if everyone planning on buying this does the same we can save some serious money. Referral Link Removed

What kit should I buy to start brewing?

For everyone still looking for a good starter kit, I just picked this one up for a great deal. http://www.homebrewfinds.com/2013/01/its-back-midwest-living-social.html It's very similar to the one that you guys posted but this one comes with a $25 gift certificate to Midway. I just picked...

New here, Looking for advice on kettles and brewing indoors vs outdoors

Thanks for the help guys. I think Im gonna go with either the 40qt Winware kettle for $40 from Amazon and brew inside on my stove (leaning towards this), or get the cheap turkey fryer from Bass Pro and brew outside. Only problem with the latter is that it only has a 30 qt kettle and looks to...
