I'm a generally laid back person who brews beer about 10 times a year. Right now, I am only using extracts and specialty grains...though I anticipate the "all grain" bug will get me soon enough. You could call me a "hop head", as I enjoy highly hopped and extreme beers. My favorite commercial breweries are Dogfish Head, Rogue, and Foothills (Winston-Salem, NC) I am a bleeding heart liberal....and devote most of my energy to family and public schools. The education policy of this nation is extremely misguided, and I hope one day "public servants (e.g. politicians)" are held accountable for their allocation of funds. Right now, we leave no rich family's child behind...despite the tireless efforts of teachers.
