Help Support Homebrew Talk - Beer, Wine, Mead, & Cider Brewing Discussion Forum:
Started with Mr. Beer back around 2009 or so and have slowly slid deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole. Put my first all grain into the fermenter on 1/7/2012 after realizing I could use software to adjust 5 gal recipes down to 3.5 gal that I could boil in my existing pot.
I've also been in amateur radio since 1987 and heavily involved in "homebrew" there. That hobby led me into a career in communications where I am now the Technical Services Manager for my county 911 as well as running my own consulting practice.
I have vowed to never let brewing become a career for me however. I don't enjoy ham radio like I used to and I don't want brewing to ever lose that magic.
