    Intermittent leaking

    I have had this issue ever since I have built my kegerator..... load the kegs in, hook everything up....check for leaks.....everything fine. Then pull beer from the taps for a week with zero issues...... all of a sudden, pull a tap and nothing. Look and the CO2 is empty. Any ideas?

    Yeah.. in the dark at 60 degrees and a relay or something melted and kept the heat running.

    I had a temp controller malfunction and it got my ferment room / wine cellar up to 87 degrees. I have nothing fermenting but I do have bottled wine stored in there..... did I do any damage? I have no idea how long but no more than just today.

    Found one..... The new heater overloaded the controller. Found a heavier duty controller.

    I just burned up the second stc 1000 temp controller. I use it to control an AC and a heater in my ferment room. 2 times I have em melt inside. This one lasted a few years and a new heater evidently overloaded it. Is there a heavier duty one available?

    These were the first ones I have ever seen.... my nephew brought a 5 gallon bucket full. I read up on them and they ripen and fall FAST and rot quickly......and apparently wildlife love them.

    Apparently......I NEVER leave my wines set overnight with no yeast, but followed kellers recipe and left it set. .. won'tdo that again... the issue with pawpaws is that they are get ripe then rotten in about a day I think. You pretty much have to be standing there waiting.

    Dumped it......nephew came over. He almost puked from the smell..... top was covered in mold when we opened it. I did everything right as far as I know.

    Yes potassium metabisulfite. I had to move it outside to the brew shed.

    Imagine a banana a kiwi and pear had a baby.... custard texture. I did not like the texture. (First ones I ever saw were last night). Nephew loves em so I am gonna ride this out. BUT I had to move it out to the ferment room in the brew shed. I could not handle the smell.

    upon research.. this may be normal HOWEVER I had not added the yeast yet.. May have a wild yeast.. either way it stinks ... I have been trying to figure the smell...sulpher mixed with shame and regret.

    It has been a long time since I have brewed or had anything on tap. I set my CO2 at 12 PSI beer temp is around 36. How long should it take to carb a keg? I used to quick carb everything but way over carbed my last batch so I just stuck a keg in the keezer and hooked up the gas. I have no idea...
