    yeast in gravity reading

    Hello all, last night i bottles a batch and forgot to take the final gravity early on so I used the left over beer in the secondary with all the yeast. The final was 1.012 and I assumed it would be lower. Could the amount of yeast in the beer affect the gravity reading?

    Nottingham yeast for Barley Wine?
