Minnesota SOLD -- Complete Glycol Chiller System - $75

Seriously, someone should come get this. I want to pass this along to another brewer! $50, a case of your favorite IPA, whatever. Let's make it happen.

Minnesota SOLD -- Complete Glycol Chiller System - $75

SOLD I'm starting to get out of the hobby and paring down some gear. I received this chiller system from another member, who basically gave it away because he believed in sharing among the community. I'm passing it along at the same cost, for the same reason. I have not used this since I moved...

Inkbird Amazon Lighting Deal for ITC-308/WIFI Temperature Controller on Aug 8

Hi Inkbird Team, I just had an ITC-308 fail on my keg fridge. The measured temperature is stuck at 42F, which kept my freezer running overnight and froze my beer. What can I do about the controller? Thank you!

Spike Conical- observations and best practices

CF10 owner here, who always does closed transfers. If you do closed transfers, then you probably are already purging your keg somehow, either doing the starsan-push thing, or a bunch of fill/purge CO2 cycles. I did both of these for a long time, and both are somewhat time consuming and/or...

American IPA Trilium Melcher Street Clone

This usually attenuates into the 1.013 - 1.015 range after many trials. I tried every which way to do this in traditional carboys and PET bottles, both pressurized and not, and it was so frustrating with clogs as people have noted previously. I had some success by putting a bag over my racking...

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

@BrunDog Thank you for this design. I just did my first run from my basement, and am super happy with the results. It's flawless. I built the 1.5" version for my 20g Spike kettle. Boiling 13g of lager right now with no steam to be found.

    Push wort using Cornelius Keg

Near boiling liquid under 2-10lbs of pressure? I would re-think this idea.

Anyone else so patiently waiting for CF10 temp control bundles to be in stock?? I feel like I've been refreshing the page for a few weeks now, and diligently checking my email for the in-stock alert.

American IPA Trilium Melcher Street Clone

Yay! Glad you liked it! Still one of my favorites. I've been experimenting with less wheat and lots more oats lately (20%+) with good results. When you try a few more batches, consider experimenting this way too!

Getting that beautiful nose on your beers

Dry hops and LOTS of them. Add between 7-9oz to achieve that explosive aroma.

Recirculating eBIABers -- to insulate or not

Yep, same idea here too. I've got a piece of silicone tubing that just goes back into the bag. I cut it long enough so that it curls around the kettle and creates a bit of a whirlpool effect. Same exact return setup that the Electric Brewery guys are using in their HERMS. Sabco too, actually...

Recirculating eBIABers -- to insulate or not

No way! Recirculation (roughly 50% on the ball valve) holds me dead steady on my 5500W eBIAB even in an unheated garage through a MN winter. I've measured the mash with a Thermapen in lots of different spots and found it all to be dead on. 50% recirculation on a Chugger/March is a huge amount of...

    More quick brewing

Never had any cloudiness, when I didn't want it. I've made crystal clear 30 minute boils, just using my standard Whirlfloc tab at 10 mins. Brewed a Centennial blonde ale, 1.050 OG, this weekend. Mashed for maybe 90 minutes (because I got distracted), then pulled the bag and boiled for 30. Hop...
