I don't know if anyone knows about these EZ-cap bottles or not (basically grolsch style swing tops). I got them from my dad and he got them years ago.
My question is whether or not all the bottles are acceptable to bottle in, I know the smaller ones are but I've got this larger one (maybe 2L...
Can't speak to skittles in secondary but I have done the skittle vodka, worked great for me (little dangerous though, chill it and it just tastes like skittle flavoured juice and its 40% abv). But hey, try it anyway, let us know how it turns out.
Alright, so I just ordered my rhizomes and they should be delived soon my question where should I plant them?

I know its already been said but +1 on the waiting, I had a Red Ale that barely carbed after 3 weeks so I put about 3 dozen in my dad's basement and forgot about it. about 6 weeks later I stumbled onto it and to my surprise it's probably one of the best beers I've made to date.
Wow, pasobac, I used to go there ever year for my dad's company picnic when I was younger, I'll definately look into attending. Thanks for the other link.
I take the red stripe labels off all the time, undiluted CLR works, fill the inside with water and leave it standing up soaking for maybe an hour then just wipe off with paper towel. The only time I've had it not work is on two Red Stripe bottles I had laying around for about 2 years.
Hi, I started brewing a few months ago and have been lurking around the site for a while but only recently signed up, it's a great site. Are there any more brewers out there from the east coast?
I'm from the area (I assume you mean Fredricton, New Brunswick), have you tried asking at any of the local stores to see if they will order them in for you? I know the Wine Kitz in Saint John will.
