I can't tolerate any of them. Stevia, erythriotol, Mannitol - whatever-a-tol. Inverted sugars. Unless I want to spend half a day on the crapper passing sharts, then good old golden sugar it is for me.
I had this gigantic 5L Grolsch swing-top bottle full of ginger beer I forgot at the bottom of my fridge for months. It leaked all over and sugars stuck up the veggie drawer. So I took it out and cleaned out the fridge.
After putting the fridge back together, I sat on the floor with that thing...
Looks wonderful. I use a brewzilla, and I don't have temp control on my fermentation. I'm on Keto and would love to brew something like this. If I don't succeed, however - I can't drink it and stay on the keto track. I suppose small batch experimentation is key.
I knew this guy had it in the bag. Home hobbyist directly related to the field is a huge plus. I was hired on that point - 20yrs IT, getting close on 10yrs a manager in call centers - skilled up from taking calls. I demonstrated exuberance for the craft in the interview and I expect the same...
My dad used let me ride either the axle or the hitch on the tractor while bailing and raking. I fell off once into the oncoming baler. But my dad stopped as he would literally glue one eye on me if I was riding with him. I still thought I was gonna end up like one of those snakes you sometimes...
I haven't brewed or drank in months. I learned to make great beer a few years back, But I've had enough accidents where I wake up on the floor halfway between the living room and the kitchen. I've gone keto and taken up light cardio and resistve bodyweight training. (100 pushups/etc). Lost...
... Drinking nothing. Taking a break since beginning of June and on Keto to get rid of the gut. Seems like an eternity!
Yesterday, I bought a True Kegerater on a song (needs work). It will hold 4 kegs in half the space of my Keezer. So looking forward to brewing again soon.
I went the BrewZilla route and have been doing no-sparge batches fairly successfully. I also built a keezer, but you could continue to bottle. I just got over the bottling process fairly quickly. Oh and I'm lazy.
Perhaps as a new parent you haven't yet developed the overprotective instinct that comes with the territory. I've researched and justified many an experiment on my own body this way just as you have above. However, this is not the same thing. It is not a baby, this is another human being for...
