Can I use Co2 to carbonate individual 2L bottles?

Here's a link for making your own carbonation caps for much cheaper: http://www.brewboard.com/index.php?showtopic=47610 I bought the parts but have yet to try it. When I do, I will be force-carbonating in a keg first.

    Random Brew Pal Questions

#2: I believe most hydrometers are calibrated for 60 deg (it should be printed somewhere on yours). So, assuming you are taking a reading at 68, there is a correction required. If your hydrometer happens to be calibrated for 68, change the temp in Brew Pal to 60 and the program will not apply...

    Propane burners and tank service

You do not need a "Uhaul tank". They will fill any modern one. A typical 20 lb tank holds about 4.73 gallons, so that comes out to about 4.23 lbs/gallon. It might pay to check Uhaul's website for propane prices before going. The two stores closest to me have significantly different prices...

Least expensive '1 gallon' fermenters (for test batches)?

I bought a couple extract kits from Austin Homebrew recently while they had the 50 state sale. The liquid extract came in small buckets that are perfect for test batches.

    Stuck quick disconnect.

Not all of them. I have two kegs so far and one of them has two 6 point bases.

I just bought a Danby DAR440BL from Walmart and will eventually convert it to a kegerator. Here's a link i found regarding converting it.
