Actually I'm wondering if it is basically "Death & Taxes" aged with some lacto yeast. It had similar body and similar taste up front. The "Left for Dead" wasn't quite as roasty as D & T. Try the left for dead if you get the chance.
Anyone here had the Moonlight "Left for Dead" Sour Black? I had it about two weeks ago and it was excellent. I really want to try and make it but not sure where to start.
Just moved my second homebrew, a pale ale, to the secondary. After a few days I noticed a white film forming on the inside of the carboy. It is mostly on the bottom but seems to be creeping up the sides now. Any thoughts on what it might be?
I'm a little concerned. Brewed my first batch on Thursday night. I followed the directions exactly as the kit explained. 12 hours later the airlock was going crazy, about 30 bubbles a minute. By Saturday morning (about 36 hours after pitching) no activity at all. The fermenter is in a temp...
