    Proper welding techniques

tigmaster you said use tri-mix gas for MIG process on stainless, I do stainless welding and fabrication for food service and have not seen the reason to use tri-mix. Argon is required for a sanitary weld with that process and not the uni-mix junk. I hate to even say use a MIG for sanitary...

    Pump deal

that pump would indeed be overkill. I have one and use it in for pumping liquid ferts in my competition pumpkin patch. Hooked to a waterhose with a stream nozzle on it I can cover a 35 foot radius area. Good pump but it moves alot of liquid.

    auto-sparge

those valves will hold any temps we could through at them. They sit right on top of near boiling water in the tank that we return our exhausted steam and condensate in to recycle the water. The minimal id in the 1/2" NPT valve like this will pass a 5/16 ball completely through it. Last I...

Barley drying Oast/Kiln air flow question

Look for an inline duct booster fan. Sometimes they are added to a heating system if there is a long run of duct work and the airflow is low. They can handle gas heating systems which can run 100+ depending on how they are set-up. Should do what you are looking for. Just my 2 pennys though.

    Jaybird's Stainless False Bottoms

Hey Jay the FBs look good, I have a few ?'s on the 15.5 hinged ones. Are they all 304/316 stainless hinges and all? What guage are they made from and do they need braces under them with a large grain load?

    Score! Huge SS Vessels w/?s

All stainless isnt the same so they could be used or not. Some series stainless have a higher carbon content, and other additives for different uses. Check it will a magnet if it sticks then it can rust which would suck. I see rusting stainless in very high $ equipment in the food service...

    Fixing Keg Cooler

If you are getting resistance from the poles on the compressor to the casing then the motor in the compressor is shorted to the case. Mark and remove the wires from the compressor and recheck the poles to the case. If you still get resistance then it will have to have the compressor replaced...

    Fixing Keg Cooler

I work on commericial resteraunt equipment and coolers for a living so I may can walk you thorough some of it. Most of those coolers dont have a pressure control on it to know if its low on gas or running to high of a pressure. More than likely it is the overload on the compressor called a...
