I would like to brew a 10 gallon batch of a RyePA. After boil I would split I to 2 buckets then add the liquid from steeping some midnight wheat to one of the buckets to get 5 gallons of black RyePA and 5 gallons of regular RyePA. Anyone see any issues with doing it this way? Any o

My level depends on the kind. Flys, spiders, ants no biggie. One time I forgot to check the catch bucket on my mill and went to mash. Cockroach crawled out. Thought no biggie just one. Then 8....... Them suckers are gross. Dumped the batch.

If you are keging it should not be a problem. The yeast will go dormant at keging temps.

Now all I need is some kegs I can buy for the right price.
