I apologize if this was previously covered in this crazy long thread. has anyone used oak chips in the secondary w this recipe. I've been soaking some in some bourbon for a couple weeks and since they are in the bourbon I thought it might be a nice add. any thoughts.
I went a little crazy and put oak chips in the secondary, has anyone done this w this recipe. I bottled last Thursday and cracked one today it's a little "woody" does it go away w time?

brewed this last month, been in the bottle for a 2 weeks. it is the best clone that I've brewed, tired out AWESOME! I stayed low on the peated malt, just the right amount if u ask me. thanks I'm brewing this again tomorrow.
