this is my last bottle of my second batch, was a great clone

primary was 2 weeks secondary was 1 week. been in a bottle for a week.

I apologize if this was previously covered in this crazy long thread. has anyone used oak chips in the secondary w this recipe. I've been soaking some in some bourbon for a couple weeks and since they are in the bourbon I thought it might be a nice add. any thoughts.

I went a little crazy and put oak chips in the secondary, has anyone done this w this recipe. I bottled last Thursday and cracked one today it's a little "woody" does it go away w time?

the higher amount of peated malt made the beer better for me. enjoying version 2 right now.

just brewed this recipe last night. had to add a gallon of boiling water to my mash in to bring my temp up but took a gallon off on the back end. should I have any problems w the final gravity. my og was 1.081. I'm relatively new to home brewing just don't want to screw this one up. my...

Brewed again today w a little more peated malt, .75 to be exact. everything else was on par, finished 1.053 OG

brewed this last month, been in the bottle for a 2 weeks. it is the best clone that I've brewed, tired out AWESOME! I stayed low on the peated malt, just the right amount if u ask me. thanks I'm brewing this again tomorrow.

I just put one of my IPA's into a secondary, I added a half shot of patron to it, guess ill find out how it taste soon enough.
