    Homebrewing and Bodybuilding/Fitness

Definitely easy to hurt yourself if you don't ease back into things. I had to keep reminding myself I'm not as strong as I was before the gym closed down, and I don't need to work as hard as I was to see some gains. I've been back in the gym for almost a year now, I am still not back where I...

    Homebrewing and Bodybuilding/Fitness

Just looked over this thread for the first time in a while, and decided to hit the gym even though I was going to skip today to brew. Now I'm mixing up a pre-workout, about to go hit legs before I get that brew session in. Thought I should bump this thread in case someone else needed some...

    McMaster Keg O-Ring List

Not sure if this is already been asked somewhere in this thread, but does anyone know the McMaster-car part numbers for replacement o-rings for the SS Brew bucket racking arm, and ball valve?

    Fermentation fridge issues.

No, but my fermentation chamber is inside in my laundry room. As long as the ambient temps in the chamber aren't lower than 58-59F you will be fine with most yeasts

    Brew kettle

That will work, what kind of brewing do you plan to do? If all you plan to use the kettle for is boiling this is plenty, I do all grain Brew in a bag and I have a 10 gallon kettle sometimes I wish I went with a 15 gallon, but I always find a way to make it work

    Fermentation fridge issues.

I don't use a heat source in my fermentation chamber, but you have the right idea, you could also use a heating pad, or they make fermentation belts that fit around your fermenter

    Fermentation fridge issues.

Rdwhahb it's fine I regularly keep my fermentation chamber set to 62 degrees ambient, since fermentation creates up to a 10 degree difference in the fermenting beer in my experience

    Fine (enough?) hop bag

You can get paint strainer bags real cheap at the hardware store I use the 5 gallon ones for the boil and one gallon bags for dry hopping

    Adding Cereal After Fermentation

What kind of beer did you put fruity pebbles in? I'm picturing an IPA and that sounds delicious if you get the bittering right. although I imagine if you dry hop Fruity Pebbles in a light-colored beer it's going to produce a funky color

    Adding Cereal After Fermentation

Kegged it over the weekend beer not ruined!!Cereal did impart taste, although not a real strong peanut butter chocolate taste, more of a sweet corn puff cereal taste, maybe I needed more cereal?? Some oil was on top of the beer when I racked it, but the beer still pours with head, I'm wondering...

    Adding Cereal After Fermentation

Okay so yesterday, I bought a family size box of Reese's Puffs cereal put it in a 5-gallon paint strainer bag and placed it into my fermenter. I tried to weigh the bag down however I did not think about the fact that cereal floats. Beer was at 8.6% ABV before adding the cereal. As of today the...
