    Frozen CO2 canister, beer everywhere.

I found the source of the problem! Where the tap connected from the inside of the fridge to the outside, there was some sort of failure. I got a new CO2 canister today and found the leak very easily. Basically just a matter of I didn't tighten it down enough after I rinsed some gunk off I...

    Frozen CO2 canister, beer everywhere.

Thank you for the input, I did not take any pictures unfortunately. I checked the connections did not notice anything that seemed off. I will get the bottle filled tomorrow hook up the system and hopefully the problem will show easily. I will update tomorrow or the following day.

The beer was not frozen. Around the CO2 bottle was frozen from the rapid release.

    Saison Cottage House Saison

Thank you for that information. When my other fermenter is free I'll use same ingredienty and technique you described and let you know the difference. As well as crush the grain finer. Also since I missed the mark quite a bit will it greatly effect the out come?

    Saison Cottage House Saison

I used the crusher at the store I'm not sure what it was set to the grain didn't look all that different. I'm not sure of what split spare is, but I mashed at 148 let it sit the hour then added 212 and let it sit 10 minutes and drained. I then added 3.5 gallon of 169 degree water and ran it...
