- Received a starter kit for Christmas in 1998. Brewed two batches. My oldest daughter came in 1999, followed by a son and another daughter. I couldn't seem to find time for brewing until recently. I dusted off my equipment and my copy of Charlie Papazzian's book and got back into it in 2016 and have been fairly steady ever since. I joined the AHA in January 2018. Joined the SPHBC in August 2020.
