    kombucha too foamy??

    I brewed a batch and my last one was hardly carbonated so for this one I added some goji berry juice to each individual bottle and capped them for 2 days for a second ferment.. k so I had them in the fridge for a day after that and just went to open one.. it foamed SO MUCH like mentos and coke...

    my question is now, how can I avoid mold on my next kombucha batch? not sure what I did wrong to cause it to grow mold before even forming a full scoby..
