I swear on a typical 4 hour drive, I will hear 5 of these commercials on the radio, all from different companies. Has anyone ever tried these things?
I'm assuming it's a scam......the commercials make me furious with their veiled lies about it being a "government buyout" and "the credit card...
I use both. I use a cleaner like the LD no-rinse or Oxy Clean to clean my bottles and my equipment. I have used idophor in the past but have now switched to star-san which I find preferable. I do go through oxy-clean fairly quickly when I scrub botles and remove labels. The star-san I have I...
I think the film I described is from the glue on the labels themselves. I will use my 6.5 gallon bottling bucket and fill it and remove a case or two of labels...That probably gets a little gummy in the solution.
Beat me to it. Exactly what I did. I had an ugly film on mine after an Oxy_clean bath but after a quick dip in a starsan bath, that came off with no effort at all and I had clean sanitized bottles.

He appears to be the classic snobbery kinda ******-y guy. While I was browsing the shelves, I overheard him and two other guys laughing because some guy didn't take a FG rading of his wine. With the "what a dumbazz" kind of attitude...
I was asking him what he felt about two Brewer's Best kits..An American Cream ale and a Blond Ale. Telling him I wanted to brew them now, so they would be ready and peaking around spring/summer.
He tells me that this is stupid cause he guarantees they will go bad by then.
Thats what he said...
It's December, so I thought this would be a great time to brew a nice golden ale for the summer months.
I really want to get this brew as clear as possible and could use some tips on best place to pick up a kit.
I checked out Austin and was curious if you guys felt the upgrade from the dry...
Interesting. I have a Russian Imp Stout in the primary and it is entering week 2. It might be a good idea to take it to my cooler basement for a final week before bottling? FG right now is about 1.032, so it might be close. I will check again before I move it. Are you guys saying this is a...
