    I brewed this recipe in early December but just tried a DFH 60 min IPA on tap at a bar last night and I have to say it tastes nearly the same. Mine is a little more hazy but I don't mind. Thanks for the recipe Yooper.

    Recipe for a Warrior-heavy IPA (suggestions please)

    Mash Tun Heat Loss

    Building my Two Cooler All Grain Brewery

    I have the same pot from update international but 10 gallons. I drilled hole and installed weldless 3 way valve myself with no issues. The 10 gallon pot is 1mm thick and I think once you get to 15g and above it is 1.2mm. Either way should be able to do all the fittings yourself.

    Grain Mill or Plate Stirrer???

    Good choice. Most people invest too much on fancy stuff to improve hot side of brewing but most important process by far is the cold side. All things equal, stir plate much more likely to contribute to making better beer. Kind of like golfers spending $400 on a driver and wasting all there time...
