    Spencer Abbey Trappist Ale!

Any chance someone could ship me a pack? I really want to try this beer. I work at a brewery in Houston, TX. I'd be willing to send some hard to find outside of TX brews or pay for them to be shipped to me. Either way.

    Belgian Lager help

I've got a Vienna malt based lager planned. But I'm going to use White Labs Belgian Lager yeast. I'm stuck on hop choices. I've never brewed a lager before. I don't want it to be hoppy/bitter at all. I was thinking maybe a small bittering addition of northern brewer? And for aroma hops...

    Belgian beers...Pilsner malts

I'm pretty much brewing Belgian style beers only and will be for a while. My question is what would the difference be if I used german pilsner malt instead of Belgian pilsner malt, since I have free unlimited german pils available to me? If it won't make any difference, I'll use it.

    Tripel issues

Brewed a Tripel last night with 9lbs belgian pils malt, 3lbs flaked oats, 1.5lbs flaked barley, and 1lb of flaked wheat. I'm using a 10 gallon aluminum brew pot with a 3/8" ss braided line/screen in the bottom. When draining the wort off I had a really hard time getting it to flow. Which...

    My idea...Wit/Saison

Saturday I brewed a batch that's basically a Belgian wit style beer but I used a Saison yeast. And added some blended up and boiled organic raspberries towards the end of fermentation. OG was 1.066. In 3 days it's at 1.007. The yeast is a beast! Has anyone else tried anything like this? I...

    First brew fermenting in TX

Hello. My name is Seth. I joined because I found some really useful info on here for my first batch of brew. My older brother works for a brewery in Houston so he was a helpful resource as well. The main reason why I wanted to start home brewing is because I'm picky with beer. Belgian styles are...
