Trip from Mass to Wisconsin through Chicago!!

Go to oso's in Plover. They have 40 Wisconsin taps. They usually get a great selection in there. You can taste a lot of Wisconsin in one stop, also see their brewery and home Brew shop

    Great Taste of the Midwest

The nice weather made it a real drunk day. I didn't think I had that much until I got back to the hotel room.

    Great Taste of the Midwest

I agree on layout. The 600 tent was way out of place and bells and goose island blocking way between tents. Anyone try bells mad scientist ale? Was that hot or what

Second keg to suddenly go bad.

I would try to clean lines and Faucet and see if that helps. Might be nasties in Faucet.

    Portable keg dispenser

If you take one off the zeros out I may be interested. It looks like it is at a bar. Used 3 months counted one day of use at a time for parties.

    Beer from Grape Nuts

Last year at the great taste of the Midwest, Daves brew farm in Wilson WI had a breakfast beer. If I remember correct 20 or 30% was grape nuts. I do remember it had a great flavor.

Visiting Wisconsin - What beers to try?

How about oso brewing in Stevens Point. Awesome beers might even have a pumpkin. Would be worth the drive. Can also find it all over the state. Might not find special releases in stores.

First Time at Great Taste of the Midwest

I agree. Most of these guys leave thinking about what to bring next year. I know some of these are aged in barrels for 6 months and will only be tried at the great taste. Well maybe if real special they may keep a gallon or so in the keg.
