Go to oso's in Plover. They have 40 Wisconsin taps. They usually get a great selection in there. You can taste a lot of Wisconsin in one stop, also see their brewery and home Brew shop
I agree on layout. The 600 tent was way out of place and bells and goose island blocking way between tents. Anyone try bells mad scientist ale? Was that hot or what
Last year at the great taste of the Midwest, Daves brew farm in Wilson WI had a breakfast beer. If I remember correct 20 or 30% was grape nuts. I do remember it had a great flavor.
How about oso brewing in Stevens Point. Awesome beers might even have a pumpkin. Would be worth the drive. Can also find it all over the state. Might not find special releases in stores.
I agree. Most of these guys leave thinking about what to bring next year. I know some of these are aged in barrels for 6 months and will only be tried at the great taste. Well maybe if real special they may keep a gallon or so in the keg.
